Dirt Day

More info...

The Woodcreek Mountain Bike Race team is having their annual recruiting day, or Dirt Day. The event will be held at the Dry Creek Community Park, 9245 Walerga Rd (look for our team flag). This day is to introduce boys and girls to the sport of mountain biking, evaluate their basic trail skills, take a short ride, and build excitement for our team.

The day will start at 10:00am and end at approximately 1:00pm.

Parents please attend so we can answer any questions and address any of your concerns. Bike, helmet, and a great attitude are required. If you don’t have a bike or a helmet, we have some team loaners we can provide on a first come basis, if you let us know in advance. If your son or daughter is looking for a competitive sport and likes to ride bikes, come join us for a fun event and see what our team is about. This team is a long standing Woodcreek high school club (open to 6th-12th graders) run by parent volunteers under the guidance of NICA’s NorCal league (https://www.norcalmtb.org/races/), so parents are encouraged to be engaged with this team and help it thrive.

Please RSVP at woodcreekmtb@gmail.com with the student name, grade, and if you need a loaner bike and/or helmet. Lunch will be provided for potential riders and parents.

We hope to see you at Dirt Day!
